On the eve of the bowling green opening day, a sou'-westerly blows in.... Who knew that 24hrs earlier (with full military [retired] precision) the mainsail was hoisted, but with the flag on upside down! Good job no Lancastrian's were about.

Come and try your hand at bowls this Sunday 19th April 2026, 1.45 for a 2pm start. All are welcome. Absolutely no experience is necessary, so it doesn't matter if you've never played bowls in your life. It's only a bit of fun and if you enjoy it you never know, you might want to come back and have another go.
