The Ryedale & District Veterans Bowls League is an outdoor flat green triples league based mainly in the District of Ryedale in North Yorkshire. There are currently 16 clubs in the league with matches played on Wednesday afternoons from May to August. (Easingwold, Helmsley, Harome, Hovingham, Huby, Hutton-Le-Hole, Kirkbymoorside, Malton, Pickering, Sheriff Hutton, Stillington, Strensall, Swinton, Thornton-Le-Dale, Welham, Wigginton). All teams are invited to play for the Sundella and Ossie Ashcroft Cups.

FIRST HALF OF SEASON ROUNDUP.... KMS BC have reached the halfway stage in the Ryedale Veterans League. We started the season a bit indifferently with a 8 - 2 win at Pickering, followed by an 8 - 2 loss at Malton. The Malton green probably the heaviest green we will encounter during season although not an excuse, it didn't help. The following 4 games resulted in 10 - 0, 6 - 4, 8 - 2, & 8 - 2 victories. Our final league game of the first half of the season was at Easingwold. On a challenging green, the match result was in the balance right up to the final end. Unfortunately, it went the way of Easingwold 6 - 4. Despite the loss, Kirkbymoorside sit on top of the division 1 table at the halfway stage by 2points from Easingwold who have a game in hand.
In the Ossie Ashcroft Cup, KMS BC beat Malton and play Hovingham & Harome in the Qtr Final.
