Written by Claude "Curly" Putman and made famous by Tom Jones... but Our green green grass of home has been slowly photosynthesising since last September's refurb'.

Every single blade of new grass was individually transplanted into the ground by a top Harley Street surgeon. Well maybe it was more 'spread about by a tractor', but the principles the same and despite the rain and cold, the green now has a fine looking head of turf.

John, our head greenkeeper has said he might start offering hair transplants during the bowling season "if the price is right", so watch this space.
