WHAT DO YOU GET?...

Well apart from the exercise, fresh air, camaraderie, friendly competition, sometimes frustration and occasionally elation, you get 22 weeks to play on one of the best bowling greens in the county and access to potentially play in up to 70 local league and competition matches over the season... For adult members that's just over £2 a week and 23p a week for junior members!

[The bowling season runs from mid-April to the end of September. Coaching is available from our qualified Bowls England coach].

Subject to scheduled matches and greens maintenance, the bowling green and clubhouse is available 7 days a week to members to play ad-hoc games with other members or non-member guests. Additionally, members may wish to join the regular weekly social bowling session (Tuesday afternoon - 1.45 - 3.30, weather permitting) or sign up to play in any of the clubs league or competition matches.

Annual Membership Fees...

Adult - £50. 

Junior (17yrs and under) - £5  

Non-bowling [social] - £3

Other Fees...

Keys for the bowling green gate padlock and clubhouse - £10   (Having your own personal set of keys is optional, but Members wishing to play ad-hoc games and to access the clubhouse will need keys if no other key holder is e present. There is a one-off key cutting charge, which is refundable on return of the keys).  

Visiting non-member players green fee - £3 per visitor session.  (Either visitors from other clubs or guests of Club members are always welcome to play. There is a nominal £3 green fee per playing visitor. Arrangement for access to the green should be made through an existing club member, in the case of a guest, or by the prospective visitors contacting the Club by email).

HOW TO APPLY...

We are unable to take online card payment via our website, so please use one of the following options to apply for new membership or to renew your membership:

(1) Complete and submit the online form and then make your membership payment by bank transfer. (Quote your name as the reference for the bank transfer).

OR

(2) Print the attached .pdf membership document and complete it by hand and post it to Bob Sinclair (Club Treasurer) along with a cheque for your membership, or make payment by bank transfer. (Quote your name as the reference for the bank transfer).

Members authorise and give consent to Kirkbymoorside Bowling Club to store and process personal data for bowls related purposes. The information will not be passed to any other organisation without your written consent. Members are required to abide by the Clubs Constitution, and its health and safety and safeguarding policies, which are detailed on the clubs website.
