Club Membership

Thinking of trying bowls for the first time or are you getting back into bowls?

Here at Kirkbymoorside Bowling Club we welcome anyone to come along and 'have a go' if you've never played bowls before, or to have a 'roll-up' if you're a lapsed bowler who hasn't played for a while, or you have moved to the area.

One of the easiest ways to start is to come along to one of our 'roll-up' social bowling sessions which run on Tuesday afternoons (2pm to around 3.30pm) during the season (22 April - 14 September 2025).

Roll-up sessions are free to members and £3 to visitors, including non-members and members of other bowling clubs. If you're just trying bowling for the first time you're welcome to come along to a couple of sessions completely free... You've nothing to lose, and the worst that can happen is you'll have had some gentle exercise in the fresh air, a chat about how to put the World to rights and maybe have a cup of tea..... so why not give bowls a try.

Becoming a member of the club enables you to access the social bowling sessions, but also the clubs internal competitions and external league matches during the season.

Whether a social bowler or a league player, coaching is available from our resident qualified coach.

Only want to be a spectator?... Not a problem. Even if you don't have any ambitions to join the club and to play bowls, spectators are always warmly welcomed, so come along; breath in some fresh air; enjoy the competition, and maybe join in with the chit-chat.

IF YOU'VE DECIDED TO BECOME A MEMBER..... Smart move!
