KMS BC opened the new season with a 6-2 victory over a very competitive Helmsley Bowling Club. A beautiful evening and a perfect surface saw Helmsley make a good start on all three rinks. The experience and composure of KMS told as the game progressed with two rinks victorious and Helmsley winning the third rink by a single point. Special mention to the KMS Spice Girls (Pat Lawry, Shirley Wakefield and Gail Allan) playing together for the first time had a convincing 29-12 victory. Good luck to Helmsley for the season ahead.
