COMPETITION FORMAT...Triples may be all female, male or mixed. A maximum of 32 entries will compete.
AUSSIE PAIRS: example for order of play:
Team AB v Team XY - A & X start as the leads.
End 1 - A & X bowl two woods each. Players then change ends and the skips B & Y bowl all their 4 woods. Players change ends and A & X deliver their last two bowls to complete the end.
End 2 - B & Y are now the leads and bowls two bowls each. Players then change ends and A & X deliver all their 4 bowls . Players change ends and B & Y deliver their last two bowls.
The winners from Groups A,B,C,D,E & F plus the 2 best runners up ( 1 from Groups A,B,C, and 1 from Groups D,E,F) will qualify for the quarter finals.
The remaining four 2nd place teams from the two groups will contest for the Adams Plate.
QUARTER FINAL DRAW is :- Winner Group A v Winner Group F
Winner Group B v Winner Group E
Winner Group C v Winner Group D
Best runner up from Groups A,B,C v Best runner up from Group D,E,F
All games will be played over a maximum of 7 ends for a duration of 50 minutes starting on the whistle. The final whistle blow after 40 minutes. The end being played will be played plus one more end if the 7 ends have not been played.
